Drawing from my experience, I am dedicated to crafting a personalized and meaningful ceremony that reflects your unique love story and journey. My priority as your officiant is to help guide you through the ceremony planning adventure, keeping it personalized, fun and professional is my goal.

You have your ring, booked your venue, now onto the other fine details that make your wedding day unique.
I help take the stress out of ceremony planning, I offer customized questionnaire, phone and email check in's and if a rehearsal is not in the budget or timeline, I offer a complimentary guideline that you and your " I do crew" can follow to carry out your own rehearsal.
I will work with you to craft an organic ceremony that best reflects your love and commitment to each other.
I am available to officiate any size of wedding ceremony, you can keep it small and intimate or grand affair.
All legal ceremonies require an
Ontario Marriage License and two witnesses present.
I can provide resources to help you create the ceremony you want.
I offer free, no obligation consultations.

COMMITMENT CEREMONY
COMMITMENT CEREMONY
My dedication to your commitment ceremony is the same as a legal wedding but no license or witnesses are required as there is no legal component to this ceremony.
You may have attendants if you like or keep it intimate and simple.
I will work with you to create a unique and memorable ceremony.
Although you do not need a licensed officiant, they are helpful in guiding you through your ceremony.
We can arrange to meet in person or chat via email or an online source.

Friday to Sunday $350

Whether it be an intimate ceremony for only the two of you or a larger affair with
friends and family. I will work with you to
create a ceremony to reflect your
accomplishments and your desire for a continued deep commitment to your marriage.

So you have made a decision to tie the knot, but you do not want all of the fuss or expense of a traditional affair. This is a wonderful adventure!
You will need your Ontario Marriage License, two witnesses and well both of you!
You choose the date, time and location (your back yard, a park or even a lovely beach and I will work with you to create a wonderfully memorable ceremony.
Elopement includes up to 8 guests
You can bring your photographer and music.
If you want to keep it all hush, I can supply witnesses for a small fee to each of them.
Photography package also available
add 10 professional digital photos and customized announcement to your package for $50.

CO OFFICIATE
You want your ceremony to be unique and you want a friend or family member to be a part of that, I will collaborate with your ideal candidate to deliver a fun, memorable, ceremony that adheres to Government of Ontario Guidelines.
This is element is an additional $50 fee to any ceremony as it involves more collaboration, more emails, more time.

Who I Am
My name is Carolin Vermeersch of Forest City Ceremonies. I am a Licensed and Inclusive Wedding Officiant based in London, Ontario but travel throughout Southwestern Ontario to celebrate life, love and unions of the heart.
After serving the Southwestern Ontario wedding industry in other capacities for many years, in 2018 I decided to follow my hearts passion and desire for creativity to pursue a new role within the wedding world as a Wedding Officiant and Life Celebrant.
I believe in being reliable, personable, passionate and genuine.
Whether you are planning an intimate elopement for 2 or a grand celebration of 300, I’m here to make sure that each and every moment I’m involved with is inspiring, heartfelt and unforgettable.

Important Information
Please note that it is your responsibility to obtain your marriage license prior to your wedding ceremony and ensure you bring it with you on the wedding day. You may apply at any Municipal office in Ontario up to 90 days in advance of your wedding ceremony.
Marriage License vs Marriage Certificate
A marriage license is a document you need to to obtain for a legal marriage. In Ontario this can be obtained from your local municipal office.
A marriage certificate is what is issued from the government after your marriage licensed has been received and processed. You will need to apply for, this is not automatically issued.
